Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE), formerly known as Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, was established in 1984 by Thiru T. Kalasalingam in Tamil Nadu. Located near the scenic Western Ghats, the institution was granted Deemed-to-be University status in 2006.
